So this is 2025. Not too bad so far but we’re less than a percentage of the way through and I’m not inherently an optimist. So I got a notice yesterday (and today) from FedEx that there is a package on the way. If I’m guessing right this is the laptop from the new client I’ll be working for. It’s supposed to be a 9 month contract but we’ll see how it shakes out. Should be something I can completely shine at but I still need to hone my Linux, python and docker skills and work on my physique.

Also a lot of home repair and upgrade that needs to be done. Sometimes it feels overwhelming but it’s all a labor of love. I didn’t get much done in the garage today. I’d like to rant about the frigging mouse putting the NCAA BCS on ESPN instead of ABC. I mean I’m sure I could have paid for a month of ESPN streaming but it’s the point of it, I really don’t care to support them. You want to put it on the air, I’ll watch it. I’m not paying you to show me commercials or I’m doing that as little as possible.

So tomorrow is Thursday and I have to let part time job we need to wrap up the current project in prep for the next project. I hate this part but I’ll be damned if I’m running any more than one project at a time. Work Life Balance Dammit!!!
