Job Offer Accepted
Funny how life works out. I accepted a job offer which will see me assisting an organization off of Taleo. Super excited about it because I know what I’m doing and I should be able to make a positive impact on the organization. So I’m booked for at least the next couple of months.

Job Offer Declined
I should probably have my head examined but I turned down a job making 70k a year, it was remote too. But I just didn’t feel it, it was a data entry position and they would provide the hardware and it was a mac. I think that I would have done well but I can…

Tiller Drained
I drained the gas out of the tiller since I believe we’re done with it for the season. It was a beautiful day and Sandy and I went for a 12 mile bike ride around Hurst. I’ve decided I’m going to take my picture in front of all the parks in the city. So I…

Successful Bread!!!
If you’ve been following the adventures in bread baking, you’ll know it’s been a pretty abject failure all around, even the bread maker has only raised my bread baking game to sub-standard. I’m happy to announce we’ve had success. This was in furtherance of making sub rolls and using the bread machine recipe for dough.…

Sand Burr Pre-Emergent Applied
I saw some sand burr plants in the grass so I re-applied the pre-emergent although I think that I used less water than I should have, evidently there are 8 pint to a gallon not 16, oh well, still did the right area so it should be fine.

Recalls Complete
While I love my truck, the closest Ram dealership leaves a bunch to be desired. I finally got hold of them and they actually had the parts in stock to fix the last two of four recalls that were left. So I’m completely up to date. It was kind of cool in that they took…
