A Facebook friend of mine had a heart attack. I knew him from college, he lost his father about a year ago or so and I think was divorced a handful of years ago. Fortunately he’s alright and seems none the worse for ware, but that’s a huge deal that creates sudden and permanent changes in your lifestyle and habits. But it’s a second chance, one that another friend of mine didn’t get. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we know I’m already kind of paranoid about dying, this really isn’t helping. But I am taking better care of myself than I ever have. I took my blood pressure for the first time in months and it’s 105\/66 with a pulse of 73. My average sleeping heart rate is 64 bpm. My last blood test had nothing out of range. I’m a little heavy but I’m working on it. I’m doing what I can. Part of me wonders why it took so long to get here. I guess it happened when it was supposed to happen. And I have to understand my end will come exactly when it’s supposed to, not a moment too early and not a moment too late. Ugh, at least I can say it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
